First ever Ahirani film in theatres

O Tuni Maay has become the first Ahirani language film that has released on the big screen.
The film directed by Vinod Chavan was recently released in various cities in Maharashtra including Thane, Kalyan, Ahmedagar and Nashik. It is considered as a welcome move for the Ahirani language films which is a dialect from Khandesh region; as the regional language films were available only in the CD formats till recent times.After getting a place along with other Marathi and Hindi feature films in the multiplexes, the regional Ahirani language films are now expected to receive a bigger and better exhibition in the theaters.
