Matt Damon may have found a buyer for his Miami Beach home after many price cuts, but Shakira can’t seem to shake off her property after listing it several times. The singer’s house could still be yours — now for a reduced price.
Shakira listed the modern property before, but took it off the market early this year. She tried to rent the house for $45,000 a month, before calling it a remodeled “Zen sanctuary” and listing it for $14.95 million. It officially came off the market this spring, but that hasn’t stopped her from trying to sell it.
Robin Kluge, an agent for Douglas Elliman Real Estate, disclosed, “I sent a client through there within the last two weeks.” Even though the client was an international real estate investor, the house didn’t suit him.
Too bad, because the beautiful, sleek and white 8,355-square-foot home is private and spacious. It features 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms and faces West towards Miami, with an abundance of blue sky and blue water. But there might be a little bit of competition in the area since LeBron James recently listed his opulent estate.
Shakira has owned the property for more than a decade, having purchased it for $3.38 million in 2001. Rumor has it the price has been dropped to $13 million, and Kluge found out the property was still available through her contacts.
