Marathi actress slapped in road rage incident
In a shocking incident, Marathi actress Yogita Dandekar was dragged out of her car and slapped by a businessman in Mumbai on Tuesday in an apparent case of road rage, as reported by Firstpost.
The actress was in news for posing naked and having the tricolour painted on her body in 2011 in support of Anna Hazare's anti-graft movement.
Dandekar was thrashed by the accused, businessman Hansraj Surana and his driver Krishna Kumar Vaidyanath, says the report.

The actress told TOI 'I was on my way home from Siddhivinayak temple when Hansraj's driver got out of his car and started screaming at me. I was at the wheel and I know for sure that my car didn't ram into their vehicle, as the driver had been alleging.' A crowd gathered around them but no one stepped forward to help her.
The report further states, that Dandekar reportedly fought back and with the help of police patrol managed to drag the duo to Santacruz Police Station where Surana and Vaidyanath were placed under arrest. Surana and his driver were reportedly charged under the Indian Penal Code sections 354 (molestation) and (voluntarily causing hurt). The actress has said that she no longer feels safe in the city after getting no support from bystanders.
Dandekar has acted in movies such as Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Traffic Signal' and the recently released 'Zara Sambhal Ke'.
