A Tasmanian man has been fined $750 for stealing frozen mice from a Hobart pet shop.
Gregory Clive Andrew Hall pleaded guilty in the Magistrates Court in Hobart charged over the theft from a Murray Street store in August.
The court heard he helped himself to five packs of adult mice, six packs of fuzzy mice, one pack of pink mice and five packs of wiener mice from the store's freezer.
The mice, which are sold as reptile feed, were worth $191.
The Austins Ferry man told police he had intended to on-sell the frozen rodents to another man.
