JAMMU, Dec 11: National Conference leader and chief patron J&K Sikh Societies Amalgamate Gurdeep Singh Sasan today castigated the BJP , Congress and PDP for playing with the sentiments 1947 PoK refugees to gain political mileage.
Addressing refugee leaders, today , Sasan said that the opportunistic parties were exploiting the PoK refugees for political gains and did nothing to mitigate their problems , Sasan flayed BJP for misleading the hapless community over the issue and said that they blatantly spreads canards which exposed their double standard towards sufferers of 1947 holocaust, Sasan lambasted BJP for scuttling policy for clubbing the settlement of PoK refugees with Chhamb displaced recommended by J&K Government .The refugee community will never forget this in human act of BJP and will teach them lesson. He cautioned the refugees to be aware of then who are now shielding crocodile tears and making false promises.
Mr Sasan further said that the Congress which ruled the state for many years did nothing for the betterment and upliftment of the PoK refugees and always created hurdles in way of finding solutions for the settlement of Refugees problems.
Mr Sasan reminded the refugees that it NC under the leadership of late Sheikh Mohd Abdullah got refugees settled in different part of the State and also allotted land to them and now Omar Abdullah has recommended the relief package to the Central Government.
