ALTHOUGH having one or two female drivers in a racing team is not that uncommon, the three ladies comprising the Red Bull Rookies team garnered quite a bit of attention on the track during the recent Sepang 1,000KM (S1K) Endurance Race 2014.
Led by anchor driver Siti Shakirah Shaharul, 20, the team eventually made a commendable 12th place finish, up from 25th after 161 laps around the Sepang International Circuit.
