Man thrown off moving train near Ahmedabad loses leg

AHMEDABAD: A 25-year-old youth loses a leg after being thrown off a moving train on a railway track near Kalupur. The youth has been shifted to Civil Hospital.
According to EMRI 108 officials, they got a call from Kalupur about a man on the railway tracks. When the team reached the spot, they found that the man had lost one of his legs that was cut off by a train.In the preliminary questioning, the youth said that his name was Kamalasen and he is a native of Bihar.
“He had boarded a train from Kalupur to reach Sabarmati on Thursday evening. He said somebody picked his pocket and then pushed him out of the door where he was standing,” said a Government Railway Police (GRP) official.
