The Huma Qureshi-Rajat Kapoor starrer X will premiere at the International Film Festival of Kerala on December 14. The film had its world premiere on November 16 at the South Asian International Film Festival in New York, where it was the festival’s opening film. The story is directed by 11 directors including Qaushiq Mukherjee also known as Q, Suparn Verma, Sandeep Mohan, Sudhish Kamath, film critic Raja Sen, Anu Menon, Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, Hemant Gaba, Nalan Kumarasamy, Pratim D Gupta and Rajshree Ojha. Besides the duo, the film also stars Swara Bhaskar, Radhika Apte, Anshuman Jha, Neha Mahajan, Parno Mitra, Pia Bajpai, Pooja Ruparel, Richa Shukla, Rii Sen, Aditi Chengappa, Bidita Bag and Gabriella Schmidt in prominent roles.
The story deals with mid-life crisis that a film-maker faces when he meets Adiiti Chengapppa who reminds him of his first girlfriend. Each aspect of the character has been explored by the 11 directors.
