Paresh Ganatra: Every father wants his child to be independent
In a recent track on Chidiya Ghar, Pratham Shetty, who plays Gillu, comes home crying one day as one of his classmates has threatened him with dire consequences. Seeing his boy in tears, Ghotak (Paresh Ganatra) comforts Gillu and tells him to be tough and fight back as he has the support of his father if things take a bad turn.
Babuji (Rajendra Gupta) overhears this and tells Ghotak to stop teaching Gillu wrong things as he will have to face its consequences in the future.
Ghotak replies to Babuji saying that the world has changed into a bitter place and only understands ‘tit for tat’ ideology.

Says Paresh, “All parents want their kids to be strong and independent to face the world and the obstacles present themselves from time to time. Parents do everything in their power to prepare kids for what lies in the future. This sequence is a glimpse into the world of parenting and how every decision made touches the lives of our kids. Being a father myself, I really loved working on this track as it teaches a lot of values and I hope the viewers also see this and educate themselves a bit more on parenting.”
Chidiya Ghar airs from Monday to Friday at 9 pm on SAB TV.
