ITM University, Raipur, on Monday conducted its first convocation ceremony for MBA 2012-14 batch on its campus.

RAIPUR: ITM University, Raipur, on Monday conducted its first convocation ceremony for MBA 2012-14 batch on its campus.
Governor Balram Das Tandon was the chief guest of the event while guests of honour, included OP Verma, PURC Chhattisgarh chairman and principal secretary-higher education department BL Agrawal.
University chancellor Dr PV Ramana was present along with vice-chancellor of ITM-University, Dr T Dayakara Rao.

The new building of ITM-University was also inaugurated during the event. In his welcome speech, VC congratulated all graduating students. HS Vyas, registrar of the university, presented an annual report of the university. Students were handed over degrees by vice-chancellor and gold medal was awarded to Vandana Sahu by the governor. Verma emphasized the ned for improvement in management studies in India, he urged on filling up the gaps and lacunas in the present education system and appealed to all students to focus on improving their efficiency and qualities. The governor asked students to always be prepared to face challenges at every step of life. He congratulated all graduating students and urged them to never forget their responsibilities towards the society and the country as a whole.
