Hundreds of students and staff met with grief counselors Wednesday after a student at West Bridgewater High School was killed in a single-car crash Wednesday afternoon.Watch the reportOfficials said Paul Chuilli, 18, was driving on Aldrich Road just before noon when his vehicle slammed into a tree near Princess Pine Lane.When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they said they found the car with its passenger side partially wrapped around the tree.Officials said two sets of extrication tools were needed to free Chuilli from the vehicle, one witness said, and a chaplain also reportedly responded to the scene.Chuilli, a senior at West Bridgewater High School and a member of the football team, was brought to Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital where he was pronounced dead."He was a team player, worked hard and was well-liked by coaches and teammates," West Bridgewater High School Principal Mike Bodwell said.After hearing the news, hundreds of students went to the school Wednesday afternoon to speak with counselors."He made everyone laugh," friend Benjamin Feguson said. "Literally he would walk in and do something that would make everyone chuckle. He was a big goofball."Grief counselors will also be made available to students and staff on Thursday.

Officials said Paul Chuilli, 18, was driving on Aldrich Road just before noon when his vehicle slammed into a tree near Princess Pine Lane.
