NEW DELHI: Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, BJP MP from Rajasthan, on Wednesday began campaigning for his party for the upcoming assembly elections in the city.
“Rajyavardhan stands in the court of Harsh Vardhan,” said the recently inducted minister of state for information and broadcasting while addressing ‘nukkad sabhas’ at Chandni Chowk and Ballimaran.
Rathore said that electing a BJP government to power wasn’t impossible.
“We were told that 272 at the Centre were out of question, but we achieved it. A similar faith needs to be placed on our candidates in Delhi as well,” said Rathore. Chandni Chowk and Ballimaran have been Congress strongholds till recently when Som Dutt from AAP was elected in the last assembly elections.
