Andhra Pradesh deny Hyderabad full points in Ranji Trophy Group ‘C’ match

Visakhapatnam: Andhra opener K.S. Bharat blasted an unbeaten 130 to help his side salvage a draw and prevent Hyderabad from running away with full points in their Ranji Trophy Group ‘C’ match, played at the Dr Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Ground in Visakhapatnam on Wednesday.

Andhra, following on, resumed at 24 for no loss and made 215 for the loss of only two wickets in their second innings on the final day of the match.Bharat consumed 260 deliveries for a fine century, and hit 12 fours and two massive sixes. His opening D.B. Prasanth, who made a century in the first innings, was dismissed for 32 while their captain, veteran batsman Mohammed Kaif, managed to score 46 runs.
