I can't give 'masala' to audience: Aditi Gupta
Aditi Gupta, who shot to fame with her character Heer from Star Plus' Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil, is all set to make a comeback with Qubool Hai as Sanam. The actress has been missing from the small screen for a while and was seen in a daily soap, Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan last year, which wrapped up in only four months.
On being asked what kept her away from small screen, the actress spontaneously replied, "Nothing kept me away, but I was not convinced with the roles which were offered to me.
I was bored with the same content on TV. I always wanted to play a character which makes me happy and doing same kind of work puts me down."
So why did you select Qubool Hai?
Well, I have been following Qubool Hai and it was one of the shows which I love. I took this character because I feel there is a scope to it and my character will turn mysterious, as time passes. I always like to experiment with the roles I play.

Tell us something about the role you are playing in Qubool Hai.
I am playing a very seedhi saadi gaon ki chori in the show as of now, but how my character will shape up, only TRPs will decide.
Why are you hardly seen in any reality show afterZara Nachke Dikha?
I am not made for reality shows. I just can't give masala to audience. Mujhe meri image badi pyaari hai. I don't want my audience to speak ill about me. But yes, I would like to do something like
Khatron Ke Khiladi which has adventure and a lot of tasks are involved.
What do you think about the changing scenario of TV?
Of course it is changing and it is changing for better.
After working in shows like Kis Des Mein..., Sanjog Se Bani..., and a few more, didn't you miss the stressful back-to-back shoot?
No, I always wanted a show which will allow me to do my own stuff and give me my own time. I always want a time for me.
