Role reversal for Gurdeep Kohli and Arjun Punj

Real life couple Gurdeep Kohli and Arjun Punj have made a comeback on the small screen after a long time. And not only are the two excited to be a part of the same show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', but are also quite happy with their characters in the serial.

“When we were together on Sanjivani almost a decade ago, Arjun was playing the bad guy and I was playing a good girl. However, in Diya Aur Baati Hum, while I’m playing the role of a terrorist who has hijacked a flight, Arjun is playing the role of a negotiator.Our fans are loving our roles so much that even when we were boarding the flight for Lucknow, one of them came up to us and said, ‘Hijacker and negotiator dono saath saath mein?’ It feels good that people are liking us together once again,” says Gurdeep, who was in Lucknow with Arjun on Tuesday afternoon.
Gurdeep is quite excited about the fight sequences with her hubby, which are a part of the show. “Woh fight sequences karte huye mazaa aa gaya, saari bhadaas nikaal di maine itne saalon ki,” jokes Gurdeep.
