Me and my LBD Lorraine Keane

'A Little Black Dress is the one piece of clothing that has always offered me comfort and reassurance. So when I was on the Saturday Night Show, I wore an LBD. It was the same going on the Late Late to sing live in front of an audience for the very first time: when you feel nervous, a black dress can make you feel that little bit more confident.

For the Irish premiere of the Great Gatsby last summer I pulled out a black dress I bought about seven or eight years ago from Seagreen in Monkstown, which is one of my favourite shops. It was perfect for the occasion and because of the embellishment, I kept my accessories to a minimum.

I think if you come across an LBD shape and structure that suits you - you just have to go for it! Because it will never go out of fashion and it will be your style saviour time and time again."
