Sana denies link with PTI worker's killer

FAISALABAD - Former Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah on Tuesday categorically stated that the killing of PTI worker Haq Nawaz was not the handiwork of PML-N workers, saying he had checked in his constituency and nobody recognised the person grabbed on camera the media while firing on the crowd. Addressing a press conference here, the PML-N leader presented before the media Imtiaz, son of Siraj and Nadeem Mughal who were named as the persons firing and said their faces were totally different from the persons who were shown by the media.
He declared that it was part of Imran Khan's plan 'C' to kill one or two persons during every shutdown to implement their strategy of creating anarchy, derailing democracy and halting the country from the path of development.
Rana Sanaullah said that it was also a possibility that the man involved in the murder could be member of some terrorist organisation as there were warning from the intelligence agencies that terrorist could struck the protest gatherings.  He said all the persons accused in the FIR would appear before the investigating team to clear their position. He hoped that the Nadra would be able to give information about the person firing at the crowd by tomorrow (Wednesday).
The former Law Minister said that he would be filing a case against Imran Khan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Asad Umer, Arif Alvi and Sheikh Rashid for hurling threats against him before departure from Islamabad and then holding meeting for several hours near his residence instead of Ghanta Ghar.
He said there were no more than two to two and a half thousand people in the gathering of Imran Khan and he kept strolling Faisalabad roads for five hours to gather maximum people. Rana Sanaullah said that everything on Monday morning was normal in Faisalabad as markets were opened and traffic was on roads and PTI formed teams to visit different areas and forcibly close the markets. He thanked the business community and transporters of Faisalabad on behalf of the Prime Minister and Punjab Chief Minister for not responding to the call of PTI leader.
He said another person died, jumping into the canal when his clothes caught fire while he was burning tyres on road. His body was taken to allied hospital and since then he was untraceable.
