Mom lost life, son injured in mishap

Two including a woman was killed in separate mishaps in the last 48 hours. At Sadar, a 38-year-old woman lost life to rash and reckless driving of an unidentified woman driver while at MIDC, a speeding truck driver knocked dead a biker.

NAGPUR: Two including a woman was killed in separate mishaps in the last 48 hours. At Sadar, a 38-year-old woman lost life to rash and reckless driving of an unidentified woman driver while at MIDC, a speeding truck driver knocked dead a biker.
Sadar police has registered a case of death due to negligent driving against the unidentified woman driver. The deceased identified as Ruksana Khan, 38, was a resident of Teacher Colony, Jafar Nagar.

Khan, was riding pillion on her son, Arbaaz Khan’s scooter and both had just left home when an unidentified while a four-wheeler driven by a woman knocked down their scooter near Byramji Town, Sadar, on Sunday morning. Due to the collision, the mother-son duo was thrown at a distance. Police informed that the driver drove the car over the woman’s body.
At MIDC, Mahadeo Choudhari, 45, was heading on his motorbike from Digdoh Bypass to Nildoh Bypass when a speeding truck driver knocked down his bike on Tuesday morning. Choudhari, succumbed to his injuries after few hours of treatment at a private hospital. MIDC police has seized the truck and are searching for the accused driver who had fled the spot.
