The Leela Palace New Delhi is celebrating Christmas and New Year and says it will indulge its guests in the sights, sounds and smell of of the holiday season in New Delhi.
Led by the French Executive Chef Christophe Gillino, the culinary team is presenting a holiday gourmet fare including an array of menus, hand crafted desserts, themed afternoon high-tea and cocktails, and a selection of luxurious celebratory hampers.
Taking the centre stage at the Palace, is the life-size gingerbread shop-house that is made of 1200 bricks of freshly baked gingerbread on the outside and over 1000 gingerbread tiles on the inside, 1 metric ton of royal icing bejeweled with wreaths, traditional Christmas lights, stars, baubles, and gold foil decorations. The gingerbread house offers a full range of Christmas delights like Mince Pies, Dundee Cake, Plum Cake, Chocolate Santas, Christmas Cookies, Mini Gingerbread House and much more.
