JAMMU, Dec 8: The Minority Cell of PDP from Shangus and Kokernag constituencies of Anantnag district held series of meetings today to garner vote and support for their respective candidates, Peerzada Mansoor and Abdul Rahim Rather.
Addressing the meetings the PDP leaders highlighted the policies and programmes of the Party saying that it was committed to honourable and dignified return of Pandits to Valley, enhancement of cash relief till their proper settlement, passage of Shrines and Temples Bill, implementation of job package and settling other demands of the displaced people.
The meeting of Shangus Constituency was addressed by Sunil Bali, Manohar Bhat, Bansi Lal Bhat and Maharaj Krishan while the Kokernag block meeting was addressed by Mahraj Krishan Bhat (retd DYSP), Nana Ji Raina, ex Sarpanch, Nana Ji Wattal and Durga Nath.
