Boston's Santa Speedo Run Draws Over 300 Scantily-Clad Runners Out For A Festive Cause

In what's become a yuletide tradition, more than 300 sinewy Bostonians stripped down to skimpy swimsuits for the 15th annual Santa Speedo Run.

Held on Dec. 6, the event raises money for the Play Ball! Foundation, a sporting nonprofit organization for low-income students.

Rob Wilson of BosGuy.com told The Huffington Post in an email that the event "really brings a lot of fun and cheer to a season more dominated by stress to buy the perfect gift."

"It has developed a cult status in Boston as a result of its appeal," Wilson added.
