Balakrishna's gesture inspires a cancer patient
Just days after news broke out that Srija, a terminally ill patient in Khammam was on her way to recovering completely from her illness, after Pawan Kalyan came to meet her, a similar story has emerged in Hyderabad. And this time it was actor and politician, Balakrishna's turn to walk the extra mile to help a patient. Apparently, the actor's affection towards a 12 year-old girl, Sravani, who was suffering from leukemia, turned out to be a huge morale boost, as per some reports.
A native of Narasaraopeta, Sravani was diagnosed with leukemia in 2011 and soon, she lost her eye sight as well. The girl, who was undergoing treatment at a cancer hospital in Hyderabad, reportedly mentioned to the doctors that she's an ardent fan of Balakrishna and when the news reached the actor, he went out his way to make sure that girl receives extra care and attention from the doctors. Sravani is currently recuperating in the same hospital and she finally met Balakrishna soon after she regained her eye-sight. Call it a miracle or will power, it's a story which finally had a happy ending.
