Officials say two store fires that broke out within 30 minutes of each other in Falmouth early Tuesday were arson.The first fire broke out just before 1 a.m. at The Fabric Corner on Spring Bars Road, fire officials said. A second fire was reported a short distance away at 1:20 a.m. at the Dollar Tree store on Davis Street, fire officials said. The fabric store fire was knocked down after an hour. The Dollar Tree fire was deliberately set after someone broke through the glass front door, but was controlled by three fire sprinkler heads, limiting the fire damage, fire officials said.The building for the Fabric Corner -- a family-owned business for three decades -- is a complete loss.Barbra Winer, who opened the Fabric Corner 36 years ago, was at a loss for words Monday."It's gone, I've got nothing else to say, it's sad," Winer said. No injuries were reported in either fire.Anyone with information about either fire is asked to call the confidential Arson Hotline at 1-800-682-9229.
