KARACHI: Fine batting by Sheroze and Adnan Shah inspired Shahi Bagh CC to a crushing 272-run victory over AO CC in the KCCA President Cup fixture at the Asghar Ali Shah Stadium here the other day.

Batting first, Shah Bagh CC plundered a huge 352-6 in their 45 overs. Sheroze blasted an undefeated 115 from 95 balls with the aid of 10 boundaries and a brace of sixes, while Adnan smashed nine fours and two sixes in scoring 96 off 82 deliveries. Anwar Shahbaz hit 58 that included four sixes and six fours.

AO CC, in reply, were shot out for 79 in 27.2 overs. Mohammad Akhtar claimed four wickets for 17 runs.

Adnan Siddiqui struck an unbeaten 79 (six fours and three sixes) and Majid Rizvi made 54 (eight fours and one six) to help New United Gymkhana outgunned Hamdam Colts by 59 runs at the TMC Ground.
