JAMMU, Dec 7: Former IGP Prem Gupta and Er Vijay Kumar Bhagotra have been unanimously elected as president and secretary, respectively of the Home for Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla Jammu.
The election was made during the annual general body meeting of the Home for Aged & Infirm, Ambphalla under the chairmanship of Prem Gupta and attended by all members of the Society. During the meeting, annual report and audited accounts for the year 2013-14 were presented by Er Vijay Kumar Bhagotra and adopted by the house with a voice vote.
Speaking on the occasion, Prem Gupta informed about the newly added facilities for the inmates in the Home and appealed people to donate generously on regular basis for day to day needs and maintenance of the Home.
Members of the Society, including Er B B Gupta, H S Manhas, Vijay Gupta, O P Verma, and others attended the meeting.
