NASHIK: Enthusiastic party workers gave a grand welcome to newly-appointed minister of state for cooperation Dadaji Bhuse at the Shiv Sena headquarters in Shalimar on Saturday evening. The Malegaon (outer) MLA is a three-time member of the assembly and was inducted in the state cabinet on Friday.
Bhuse was welcomed by the Shiv Sena workers in the city on his way to Malegaon from Mumbai.
He said he would work towards the development of the city and admitted that the cooperative banks are not doing well. "The condition of the cooperative sector is not good in the state. I will inquire into the things that have gone wrong and will take necessary action," he said.
He said he would try to get funds for the Kumbh. "The event is everyone's responsibility. I will try to bring funds for the Kumbh from the Centre and state," he said.
MLA Rajabhau Waje, district president Vijay Karanjkar, city chief Ajay Boraste, Baban Gholap, Vinayak Pande and other Shiv Sainiks were present during the occasion.
