Anangsha Biswas’ play date with Jaipur

Actress Anangsha Biswas will soon be seen in a play in Jaipur. The Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana actress was recently in town to finalise the details for her show, which is an adaptation of a German play.
She told us, “Jaipur has a very rich culture and people love watching plays here. So, when veteran theatre person Archana Srivastava, who also heads RU’s drama department, approached me, I told her that it will be great experience.We will soon start rehearsals and would also like to take the show to other cities. Archana will be directing the play.”
Fascinated by Jaipur, Anangsha added, “A few years ago I came to Jaipur for a photo shoot, which gave me an opportunity to explore the historical marvels of the city. After that, I’ve come here a few times, and I always find the city warm and appealing. When I was contacted for the play, I thought it was another chance to connect with it.”
The actress will soon start shooting for another Hindi film called Fraud Saiyyan. “It will be a great opportunity to work with a filmmaker like Prakash Jha. I will be joining the crew in Bhopal in a couple of days,” said the Kolkata girl.
