IBSA signs contract with IPC for SDMS system

The International Blind Sports Federation has signed a contract with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) to use its athlete and members registration system.

From 1 January 2015, all IBSA athletes must be registered on the IBSA Sport Administration System (ISAA), a secure database providing for the blinds sports movement, the groundwork for registration, classification cards, licensing and events.

By using the system, which is based on the IPC’s Sport Data Management System (SDMS) set-up, IBSA will have all data regarding athletes registered on a central database.
