Video: Roasting Marshmallows with a Y2K Jet bike exhaust

While the heat that emanates from the engine of a motorcycle being ridden in traffic bothers all of us, some have devised a novel way to put that warmth to good use. So you could use that heat to keep your digits warm during a ride when the air is nippy or if you own a Y2K jet bike, you could hold a few marshmallows near the exhaust and roast them to perfection. The only trouble then, it is a rather expensive way to caramelise those cylindrical and spongy things.

The MTT Turbine Superbike, also known as the Y2K Turbine Superbike, is a wheel-driven motorcycle powered by a turboshaft engine. Powered by a Rolls-Royce-Allison Model 250 gas turbine producing 320 bhp at 6,000 rpm, it is the most powerful production bike in the world. The turboshaft engine on Y2k drives the rear wheel via a two-speed gearbox and chain and sprocket. Representing the latest in engineering technology, the bike features carbon fiber fairings, a tubular aluminum frame containing the bike’s transmission fluids and reserve tank, a rear-mounted camera with LCD color display, a SmartStart computerized ignition, and more.
