No laughs here: Ali Asgar injured on Comedy Nights With Kapil
Ali Asgar, who plays Daadi on Comedy Nights With Kapil, recently injured himself while shooting for a scene with Kiku Sharda (Palak).
Comedy Nights With Kapil (CNWK) is a show that leaves its viewers, the guests and the actors in splits most of the time. However, all was not hunky-dory on the sets of the show during the Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge special episode. Ali Asgar, who plays Daadi on CNWK, recently injured himself while shooting for a scene with Kiku Sharda (Palak).
Speaking to a dailt, Asgar said, "My character and Kiku Sharda's character were fighting, and then while running towards Sidhuji's (Navjot Singh Sidhu) chair, I slipped and hurt my neck because of the armrest of his chair. At that moment, I was completely numb and couldn't even move my body. I received first aid on the sets and since Shah Rukh Khan's (it was the shoot of the DDLJ special episode) team was present, they applied a spray and escorted me from the sets."
Following the accident on the sets, Asgar has been advised bed rest for a week. However, the actor is caught up with his acting commitments. Hence, he is being given painkiller injections in the morning, which help him survive the day. We wish the actor a speedy recovery!
