OGDCL Finds Gas, Condensate at Jand #01 Well in Punjab, Pakistan

Oil and Gas Development Co. Ltd (OGDCL) announced Thursday that the firm has discovered hydrocarbons at the Jand #01 exploratory well in Attock district, Punjab province in Dakhni M.L., Pakistan.

OGDCL said the Jand #1 well was drilled to a depth of 19,849 feet (6,050 meters) to target the hydrocarbon potentials of Sakessar, Chorgali, Nammal, Patala and Lockhart formations.

"Sakessar and Chorgali formations have been tested jointly delivering 10.60 million standard cubic feet per day gas and 21 barrels per day condensate through 32/64 inch choke at well head flowing pressure of 1,780 psi," the company said in a statement.
