Barun Sobti to sport Salman’s Tere Naam look in Main Aur Mr. Riight

Television actor, Barun Sobti, who is better known as Arnav Singh Raizada, the role he essayed in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?, makes his film debut with Main Aur Mr. Riight. The romantic drama has Sobti playing a struggling actor who is a big fan of Salman Khan. He will be seen sporting the actor’s look from Tere Naam. Shenaz Treasurywala, who is cast opposite Sobti, plays the role of a casting director.
Directed by debutante Adeeb Rais, the film, made on a budget of Rs. 4 crore, has a very interesting story. As Rais mentions, “The film is based on the story of a casting director in her mid 30s, (Treasurywala), who is in search of her Mr. Right. She is a perfectionist, while Sobti is a struggling actor. The film is their love story. They share a good chemistry on screen.” With the backdrop of Mumbai, the film showcases the city’s contemporary and urban side by shooting on locations such as Bandra and South Mumbai. One particular sequence also has them shooting at Sula Wineyards in Nashik.
The film is slated to release on December 12.
