Shantanu Maheshwari can dance with the bat now!

He didn't choose dance, dance chose him
Shantanu Maheshwari can dance with the bat now!
He didn't choose dance, dance chose him. Shantanu Maheshwari, actor, dancer choreographer of a TV series has clearly taken stock of things since he discovered his true calling in life. All of 23, Shantanu moved to Mumbai from Calcutta as an aspiring commerce student. But his ambitions and aspiration are undergoing a sea change since the serial. "I wanted to make a career in finance.
I even had plans to do a CA course, until I moved to Mumbai. I was always passionate about dance but never had I thought that I'll earn my bread and butter out of it."
Sensationally talented, Shantanu's female fan following is intoxicated by his exquisite dance moves. He blushes, "Yes the love has been amazing. But I'm grateful that people have appreciated my skill. It's a huge amount of motivation that I definitely needed after I took a detour from academics."
Part of the Chandigarh team in a cricket league, Shantanu is a performer to the core and is reactivated by a new energy as we toss cricket into the conversation, "I guess a typical Indian childhood is incomplete without gully cricket. I too have loved playing it at school level or gully level. Though I can definitely dance while I'm sleeping, if you ask me to hold a bat, I will think twice. I guess now that I'm part of the team, my love for cricket is resurfacing."
Unshackled and liberated, as we talk about his future plans, he candidly shares his amorous relationship with photography. "If you ask me to give a blueprint I might not be able to, because frankly I haven't seriously given it a thought. But one thing that I know for sure is the fact that I want to continue doing something in the field of dance and photography," he concludes.
