JAMMU, Dec 3: The 5151th birth day of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi today.
A large number of devotees besides, galaxy of social and religious leaders attended the function. Justice (retd) B L Bhat, Vijay Bakaya, MLC, and Kiran Wattal, Commissioner JMC lit the traditional lamp. The devotees recited the Maha Mantra and also took a solemn pledge to work for betterment of humanity as per the message of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta.
Swami Chaman Lal Bamzi, Swami Mohan Bu, Swami Vijeshwar Maharaj, Swami Atmanand Maharaj, Mrs Dulari Mata, Dr Sushail Wattal, K K Khosa, president KPS, Kuldeep Raina, Naina Saproo and Brij Hali were also present.
While giving religious discourses Swami Ji said Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta is the earliest spiritual book and every one should act upon it. On the occasion, P K Raina and Jagar Nath of Muthi Camp were felicitated. The vote of thanks was presented by P K Raina who also managed the stage.
