The Indian fashion designer and film stylist Surily Goel has unveiled her latest global bohemian collection targeted towards the quintessential global trotters who love to experiment and go beyond the stereotypes.

Drawing inspiration from the boho chic style ethos of New York and the city’s cultural hub Broadway, the sophisticated line is made using georgette, jersey and crepe materials.

Based in flowy and loosely structured silhouettes in a bright, bold vivacious palette of blue, pink and orange hues, the exotic yet playful range includes jumpsuits, blazers, long dresses and an array of fringe detailed accessories.

While talking about the collection, the designer says, “This season my global bohemian line is more understated and toned down. Since I spent most of my time travelling in New York, my major inspiration is derived from Broadway and the boho chicness of the city.”

One of the most established and recognizable names in the Indian fashion design fraternity of current times, Surily Goel is an alumnus of FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising), Los Angeles. Apart from selling at leading Indian designerwear stores like Ensemble and Kimaya, Surily’s designs have also been featured at Kuwait’s Villa Moda and Milan.

The designer has dressed actors in movies like 'Salaam Namaste,' 'Jaaneman,' 'The Last Lear,' 'Ishkq in Paris,' 'Chance Pe Dance,' 'Blue' and 'Ta Ra Rum Pum.' (PB)
