Vaultigo Integrates Yodlee with its Secure File Sharing and Storage Service

Vaultigo, an innovative Cloud-based secure document sharing and filing system has integrated Yodlee, the cloud-based platform driving innovation in digital financial services, into its financial management and storage solution for small businesses. This enables personal and business users to link together information from multiple bank accounts and financial institutions through a single portal.

Yodlee’s solution will enable users to link a Vaultigo account with external providers, such as a bank, in order to “pull” up-to-date account information from that provider in a secure, encrypted manner. An analytical tool also uses this information to aggregate and categorise expenditure by expense type. This enables users to view graphs of personal or company expenditure by category and over a requested time period.

The Yodlee platform is today used by millions of consumers and small businesses at over 750 global companies, including many leading international banks. The technology integrates seamlessly with Vaultigo’s platform to provide secure access for users to manage sensitive financial data remotely in the Cloud.

Vaultigo’s clear, visual, hierarchical document storage system allows users to organise their data in Box File formats online – much like a digitised home or office filing system – while simultaneously allowing them to share some or all of these files, either internally or with specifically selected external users.

Unlike many other cloud storage and sharing software, Vaultigo uses multiple levels of security to protect and back up files and has been built using software architecture equal to that of a bank. The system does not allow access to encrypted information, therefore, account, financial and client data remains completely private at all times. Both the business service ‘Vaultigo’ and the personal service ‘myVaultigo’ have UK-based servers which comply with the forthcoming EU directive requiring data on EU nationals to be held on servers within this jurisdiction.

Eva Rossmar, CEO of Vaultigo comments: “Iron-clad Cloud security has always been the end-goal in our vision for Vaultigo, therefore our decision to integrate Yodlee into our service was an easy one. Our rigorous verification and compliance auditing processes mean that we can offer our customers unrivalled security and a place to store, manage and share their sensitive information, from anywhere, on any device risk-free.”

Jason O’Shaughnessy, Yodlee, added: “Integrating Yodlee allows users swifter access to their up-to-date personal or professional financial records, without compromising on security. We share Vaultigo’s business values of safe, remote information sharing to empower consumers and businesses worldwide.”
