The nostalgic haunting voice of classic songs like Dil ke armaan and Fiza bhi hai will be heard again soon.
Salma Agha, who last sang for a Bollywood film in 1994 has now sung for the first Indian Norwegian collaboration film Dunno Y 2…Life Is A Moment. It is a sequel of internationally acclaimed Dunno Y…Na Jaane Kyun which won 10 international awards. Salma Agha, who is extremely choosy in singing for films agreed to sing in this film only on the condition that the music and the lyrics of the song should touch her heart.
When she heard the song she instantly felt it, touched her soul. This song is a Sufi Ghazal, "Aaina haseen hua hai, ishq aye ashshaah mein,tere hone ki aas mein"...with a Pakistani flair and is filmed on Kapil Sharma, Yuvraaj Parashar and Pakistani actress Sadia Khan. The film also stars Zeenat Aman, Pakistani actress Meera and European actors. Nikhil Kamath has composed the song and lyrics are by Vimal Kashyap. This film has a mix of Indian and European singers ad composers. It is directed by Norwegian director Tonje Gjevjon and Indian director Sanjay Sharma. The sequel is a musical romantic comedy and is in three languages Hindi, English and Norwegian. Recently it was premiered at world’s one of the most prestigious Opera House of Oslo. It received a warm reception from the audience and got positive reviews from critics. The premiere was attended by top politicians and famous actors of Norway.

Says Kapil Sharma,”We were very keen to have her voice in the film as the film has Indian, Pakistani and Norwegian culture in the film and who better than Salmaji could be to give flair of a Pakistani feel of voice in the film. Also the song is earthy and has intense emotions. It was not easy to trace her as it took us 4 months first to get her number and meet her. But it was worth it as her voice sounds so divine and fresh and taken the song to another level.” According to a source during recording the song she said that this song is giving her the same instinct which she felt while recording for Dil ke Armaan....
