A new batch spy shot of Maruti's SX4 S-Cross has emerged on the cyberspace, giving the best look yet at the new model.

The latest set of SX4 S-Cross spy shots come from GaadiWaadi and the images give a clear look at the Maruti's new model's front fascia, revealing the HID projector headlamps and Daytime Running LED's. The test mule seen in the picture also shows the two-slat chrome grille.

Maruti has been testing its SX4 S-Cross in India for quite a while now. Expected to make its debut next year, the SX4 S-Cross is rumoured to get 16-inch alloy wheels, scuff plates and black-cladding. The vehicle is also likely to get Suzuki's "Allgrip" all-wheel-drive system in India.

As reported previously, inside the cabin, the SX4 S-Cross is likely to get black colour with silver linings around the AC vents, centre console and audio system and the top-end trims of the car is likely to boast features like steering-mounted controls, climate control and start/stop button.

Though the engine specifications of the upcoming SX4 S-Cross remains unconfirmed, the previous reports have indicated that the India-specific version of the model will be powered by 1.6-litre diesel engine, which can churn out a power of 118bhp with a peak torque of 32kgm and the transmission will be taken care by a six-speed manual gearbox.

In Europe, the car is sold with a 1.6-litre petrol engine, which can churn out 120PS peak power and 156Nm peak torque and 1.6 litre MultiJet engine, capable of generating 120PS and 320Nm torque.

When launched in India, Maruti's new crossover will take on the likes of Renault Duster, Ford EcoSport and Nissan Terrano and the car is likely to get a price tag around ₹13 lakh.
