C Radhakrishnan and senior bureaucrat Raju Nararayanaswamy are among 10 writers who won the Kerala State Institute of Children’s Literature Awards, 2013.

Oommen Chandy will present the awards—comprising cash prize of Rs 10,000 each, a memento and citation—here on December 22.
Radhakrishnan’s ‘
Ammathottil’ bagged the award for the best children’s novel, while Narayanaswamy won the award for the book, “Neelakurunji Oru Vyazhavattathile Vasantham”, in the science literature category.
S Anitha’s “Kuttikazhchal@Lakshadweep” won the award for travel writing. N T Rajeev, Sreedevi S Kartha, S Rameshan Nair, R Satyajith, P Madhavan Pillai and Jayakrishnan won awards in other categories.
Narayanaswamy won the award for the book, “Neelakurunji Oru Vyazhavattathile Vasantham”, in the science literature category.
