Sharan turns singer for next

Sandalwood truly has a bunch of multi-talented leading men. Not only do they enthrall with their acting chops, but most of them are accomplished singers as well, like, for instance, Puneeth Rajkumar, Sudeep and Upendra, among others. The latest to join this bandwagon is funny man Sharan, who turns to the mike for his upcoming Raja Rajendra. Set to tune by music composer Arjun Janya, this song has been penned by Yogaraj Bhat.With lyrics like Madhyana kanasinalli aidh nimsha banbedtheeni, Sharan is joined by Manjula Gururaj on vocals in the song that is in the Marathi folk style Laavani rhythm.
“Sharan is a very good singer. I have been trying to get him to sing in all his films that I have worked on, but it’s just never worked out. This time, though, his voice was a perfect match,” says Arjun.
