Disgusting, highly condemnable: Madhur Bhandarkar on Gauahar Khan's incident

New Delhi: Just a day after the shocking incident of Gauahar Khan being slapped on the sets of a reality show, Bollywood director Madhur Bhandarkar has come forward to condemn it.

The incident took place on Sunday when the 'Bigg Boss 7' winner Gauahar was slapped by a member of the audience on the stage of a reality show.

The director, who is known to not mince the words, has called this act as “highly absurd and disgusting” on his Twitter handle.

Farhan Akhtar too has spoken against the act which has shocked people.

Reports suggest that the youth had apparently slapped Gauahar for dressing indecently who was shocked and shaken after the incident.

The accused was caught by bouncer present at the event and has been detained by police.
