Dehradun, August 22

IT is in recession or in competition? The point arises every time in meets and discussed vastly but what about solution? As per Lalan Singh, president, Uttranchal IT Trader Association (UITTA), "E-commerce is a threat for IT marketers which has brought slowdown in the business of people sitting in the markets." He added "Efforts made by us to retain customers are just doubled and often products sold in loss". Dehradun is famous for its education and most of the people depended on the selling of computing system but now they just come to ask for price and order online which costs them less ultimately harming bussiness. He also says that we offer extra services but agian it harms the business of people who are depended on the extra services we offer like repairin, software installation etc.And altogether every IT business person is affected.

Naresh Batra, ex-president and founder of UITTA and owner of NK Systems throws light on the solutions seeking system. According to him, everyone Knows that there is a problem in IT market. Many meetings and discussions go on but the issues are just discuused and no action takes place. This will go on for years due this situation lots of business person has changed there working style. He adds "E-commerce and some of the unethical practices are challenge for us and to beat them up we have to accept this challenge".IT resellers can't sit and wait for the good time to come because its the matter of their survival now. Hence,we have to change according to trend and as per customer. Everyone cant change themselves into online business as its not that easy to maintain websites for everyone.

UITTA is seeking a platform where channel partners can unite and discuss over the solutions and which should be implemented and executed. Naresh Batra also says "to make our voice reach to the authority we should have some substantial data based on which action can be taken". Higher authorities also knows that there is problem but without any hardcore proof nothing can be done. He says "Platform should be nationalized like media which can raise our voice and can gather the IT community and make the revolution successful"
