Robin Williams’ Daughter, Zelda Williams, Leaves Emotional Thanksgiving Message To The World

Robin Williams’ daughter, Zelda Williams, publicly spoke out on social media during this Thanksgiving week to leave an emotional message that thanked everyone in her life and reminded everyone to focus on what is important.

In a related report by the Inquisitr, the autopsy of Williams revealed that dementia and hallucinations may have led to the suicide of the comedian. Robin Williams’ estate left a large amount of money to his three children, Zachary, Zelda, and Cody based upon a trust fund. The actor also left money to his wife, Susan Schneider.

The 25-year-old Zelda Williams has had a tough year. Not only did she have to suffer the death of her father, but then trolls on Twitter harassed her with deaths threats and fake suicide photos of her father. She became so upset with these trolls that she quit using social media for a while. It took a month for Zelda to return to social media and give a message to her supporters. Following the family’s private memorial for Robin Williams, Zelda also spoke out about the stigma surrounding mental illness and shared the new tattoo design modeled after her father.

During Thanksgiving, Zelda Williams shared an Instagram that apparently shows Zelda and her mother, Marsha Garces, Robin Williams’ wife before Schneider. Garces and Williams were married from 1989 to 2010, and she is the mother of Zelda and Cody. The photo shows the two hugging and Zelda shared a message about what she is thankful for.

“I’m thankful for many things, too many to write… So I’ll keep it short: Thank you for all the hugs this year. From family, from friends, from strangers even. I appreciated them, I enjoyed them, and I needed them, even when I didn’t want them, haha. Im so very thankful for the small kindnesses and welcoming arms that briefly make my family feel a little bigger once more. Have a safe, wonderful holiday all, and don’t forget to hug your loved ones.”
