Three accused held in murder case in Rajkot district

Rajkot Rural police have arrested three accused in connection with the murder in in Kana Vadala village in Jamkandorna taluka of Rajkot district. On November 20, Bhikha Makwana, 37, a resident of Kana Vadala village, was murdered.

RAJKOT: Rajkot Rural police have arrested three accused in connection with the murder in in Kana Vadala village in Jamkandorna taluka of Rajkot district. On November 20, Bhikha Makwana, 37, a resident of Kana Vadala village, was murdered.
The accused who have been arrested are Rajesh Mahida, Nilesh Mahida and Rambhai.
According to police, the incident occurred on November 20, on outskirts of Kana Vadala village where Rajesh Mahida, Nilesh Mahida,(two siblings) and their accomplish Rambhai, a resident of Vadali village of Upleta taluka, beaten up Bhikha Makwana severely.
Makwana was rushed to a private hospital in Dhoraji where he succumbed to his injuries. Sources said Bhikha Makwana was illicit relationship with a woman since last five years. However, her sons-Rajesh and Nilesh did not like it and killed him.
Deceased’s Brother Vinod Makwana had lodged a complaint of murder against three accused with Jamkandorna police station.
Meanwhile, woman had also lodged a complaint a rape against Bhikha Mawkana and alleged that he raped her without her consent and threatened her to kill her sons.
