Why Ashish Chowdhry took Khatron Ke Khiladi

Film actor Ashish Chowdhry, who debuted this year on TV with Ek Mutthi Aasman, is now being a part of reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi.
On being asked what made him accept the offer of Khatron Ke Khiladi, he says, "To be honest, I have options of many shows and this is one thing which I had never done before. And I always wanted to do something new on TV.

The exposure I got in TV is amazing, I love doing TV and films as well.Now that I am doing TV, I might as well go all out. And reality TV shows have become a major part of TV, very well organized and doing are doing great. As this is one thing which I never gave an attempt to, though I have done fashion shows, ad films and daily soaps, so I picked up this show."
On being asked why he has worked so selectively of late, he says, "After Double Dhamaal, I disappeared for four years because a multi-starrer actor would not be able to fill up the plates. Today I have a security business and an advertising agency too."
