The Ugandan cricket fraternity swapped their jerseys for blazers and dinner dresses at the colourful UCA Awards Night Gala held at the MTN Arena Lugogo and sponsored by Nile Breweries, Pepsi and Asiatic Sports

Uganda Cricket Association (UCA) opened up another chapter in their long and rich history during the Awards Night Gala held on November 20.
For the first time, league winners were given mention worthy cash prizes and the men’s national team - The Cricket Cranes shared $20,000 (an estimated Shs52m) as a reward for having qualified for the ICC World Cricket League Division II showpiece due in Windhoek, Namibia next January.
The night was graced by Premier Ruhakana Rugunda and Buganda Kingdom’s Prince David Wasajja.
