Aakanksha’s Singh new role a homecoming

Aakanksha Singh, who was recently seen in an episodic of Savdhaan India, has bagged the lead role in producer Sudhir Sharma’s upcoming show, which will be set in the hotel industry.
The actress is getting married to her boyfriend, Kunal Sain, on December 7 in Jaipur, and will start shooting for the show after her marriage. Interestingly, Aakanksha made her debut in Sudhir’s show Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, and so it will be a homecoming of sorts for the actress.

“The show will be a mini-series, comprising 26 episodes, and in all probability, will be replacing Airlines. Aakanksha will play a trainee in a seven-star hotel and it will be her journey that will be explored. Each episode will have new characters coming in and the male lead will be a newcomer. Aakanksha played a widow and a mother to two kids in her debut show, but with this series, she will be getting to play her age,” our source told us. We called both Aakanksha and Sudhir, but they refused to comment on the news.
