CHENNAI: The Supreme Court has rejected the anticipatory bail application of lawyer Williams, who is the second accused in the murder of neurosurgeon Dr S D Subbiah.
Subbiah was hacked to death by a gang in Chennai on September 14, 2013, over a property issue.
Williams approached the Supreme Court after the Madras high court cancelled an anticipatory bail granted to him earlier.
Supreme Court judges C Nagappan and Gopal Gowda rejected his bail plea on Thursday.

As all the doors are closed now for Williams, he may surrender before the investigation officers in a couple of days and later seek bail in the Madras high court.
