This is the moment that a GoPro camera is passed through a deadly Electron Beam Irradiator. PhD student Andrew let curiosity get the better of him when he realised that no one had really seen what happened to objects inside this lethal machine.
Using a particle accelerator the beam fires electrons at an object, soaking it in radiation. It's so dangerous even the GoPro camera need special shielding to stop it from being irreversibly damaged.
