Men with knives kill two, hurt six
Two men were brutally stabbed to death by unidentified persons in a Bhiwandi slum on Thursday, police said.
According to Police Inspector Sanjay Satav from Narpoli police station, the unknown assailants attacked a family in Valpada locality at around 2.30 am, killing one person on the spot while another succumbed to injuries soon after.
Among those injured seriously were a couple and their children, all of whom bore multiple stab wounds. As per locals, the attack resulted from a land dispute, however the real motive is still not clear.
